On the way home with this watch, all I could think of was her and especially that time. I asked her several times to accompany me to find and try on that watch, even though she later became a bit impatient. I walked into that luxury store like a tourist, trying on the watch I had dreamed of for a long time. Staring at the price tag, I couldn't imagine how much time, effort, and determination it would take to buy that expensive timer in my hand. Everything felt so distant.
But now, the white gold watch bezel shines on my wrist, dazzlingly and peacefully. I achieved the dream of 24-year-old version of me.
